Before placing an order

1. Read and Agree to ToS:

✦ Ensure that you have read and agree to the Terms of Service provided.
✦ Failure to agree to the terms may result in the rejection of your commission.

2. Provide Commission Details:

✦ Reference requirements vary depending on the commission type.
✦ Please check the individual commission listing for the required references and assets.
✦ Clients must have permission to use any reference art or assets they provide.

3. Commission Acceptance:

✦ Feel free to reach out via Twitter, email, or Discord.
✦ Completion times:
    ⟡ Approximately 2 weeks to 1 month for smaller commissions, such as throwables.
    ⟡ Up to 3 months for character models.
    ⟡ Completion times may vary depending on project complexity, revisions, and queue position.
✦ Project files and/or Unity packages will be provided when specified in the relevant commission listing.

4. Payment and Reservation:

✦ Payment methods and payment schedules will be specified on the relevant commission listing or invoice.
✦ Prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated.

5. Commission Start:

✦ You will be notified when I start your commission.

**Quick commissions, such as throwables, may be purchased through Vgen

Payments
✦ Prices are listed in USD.
✦ Payment plans are available for orders of $500 or more.
✦ Payment plans must be agreed upon before the commission begins.
✦ Additional fees apply for priority commissions and private commissions.

Posting
✦ Completed commissions and WIPs may be posted on social media or shown during streams unless a private commission is requested.
✦ Proper credit should be given when reposting or sharing the commission.

Copyright & Ownership
✦ QuantumL34p retains copyright to the original 3D models, renders, animations, and other original work created as part of the commission.
✦ The client retains ownership of their original characters, artwork, designs, and other materials they provide.
✦ The client is granted permission to use the completed work according to the usage rights specified for their commission.
✦ Copyright ownership is not transferred unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.
✦ Clients may modify the finished work for their personal use unless otherwise restricted by the commission listing. Redistribution or resale of the original files is not permitted unless explicitly agreed upon.

Revision Policy:
✦ The initial cost includes up to 5 revisions per commission.
✦ A revision is a requested change to existing work. Major changes that require significant reworking or recreating previously approved work may incur an additional fee.
✦ Revisions must be requested during the relevant stage of the commission. Changes requested after approval of a stage may incur an additional fee.

Privacy and Confidentiality:
✦ Private information provided by the client will not be publicly shared.
✦ Commission work may be publicly shared unless the client has paid for/requested a private commission.

Workflow
✦ Detailed commission requests are appreciated.
✦ 3D modelling style considerations apply, and requests may be rejected if they do not conform to the artist's style.
✦ WIP updates can be requested throughout the commission process.

Deadlines - Queue
✦ Commissions are generally completed in the order they are received.
✦ Setting a specific deadline incurs an additional fee.
✦ QuantumL34p reserves the right to decline projects with unrealistic deadlines.
✦ Clients should communicate any requested deadline changes as early as possible.
✦ Client-requested changes to an agreed deadline may incur an additional fee.
✦ Client delays in providing required information, feedback, approvals, or assets may extend the commission timeline.
✦ Extended periods of client inactivity may result in the commission being moved further back in the queue.

Behaviour
✦ Rude or inappropriate behaviour may result in blacklisting.
✦ QuantumL34p reserves the right to cancel a project if I no longer feel comfortable continuing the commission.

Client-Provided Assets
✦ Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights and permissions to use any artwork, characters, logos, designs, or other assets they provide for a commission.
✦ QuantumL34p is not responsible for copyright or ownership disputes relating to client-provided materials.
✦ By providing an asset for use in a commission, the client confirms that they have permission to use it for the intended use.

Cancellation & Refunds
✦ Clients may cancel a commission at any time, but payments already made are non-refundable once work has begun.
✦ The initial deposit is used to reserve the commission slot and cover work performed during the early stages of the commission.
✦ If a commission is cancelled after work has progressed beyond the amount already paid, QuantumL34p may invoice the client for completed work that has not yet been paid for.
✦ If QuantumL34p must cancel a commission, the client will receive a refund for any portion of the commission that has not yet been completed.
✦ If a client remains inactive for an extended period and does not respond to attempts to resume the commission, the commission may be considered abandoned and cancelled.

Commercial Use Rights
✦ Clients may use the finished work for personal and monetized content creation, including streaming, YouTube videos, and social media, unless otherwise specified by the commission listing.
✦ Commercial use involving resale, redistribution, licensing, or inclusion of the commissioned work in a product or paid service may require an additional commercial-use fee.
✦ Commercial uses requiring additional licensing must be discussed and approved before use.
